About Me

As a Mechatronics Engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Ontario, my journey has been shaped by a deep passion for manufacturing and robotics—a passion I aspire to share and inspire in others through my innovative projects.

Born as the youngest in my family, my hands-on nature emerged early. From elementary school, my fascination with creating things led me to embark on woodworking projects, crafting items like a wooden katana toy prop and a monitor stand with keyboard storage. In high school, my interests expanded into the realm of computers and gaming. I built my first gaming PC, upgraded it later, and even built computers for friends, selling them online as a side hustle.

While engaging in various clubs and sports during high school, badminton emerged as a central hobby. This passion has endured, and badminton continues to be a significant part of my life, with me dedicating several days each week to playing. Upon entering university, my focus expanded into a new avenue of creation — robotics.

My introduction to robotics and computer programming in high school sparked a curiosity that only intensified during my university studies. Self-taught due to the absence of a robotics team in high school, I equipped myself with the skills needed to join the Ryerson Rams Robotics team. Here, my interest in mechatronics deepened, extending to robotic arms, quadruped robots, CNCs, and RC vehicles. To further enhance my skills, I invested in a 3D printer, which elevated my proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)—a valuable asset in both my academic pursuits and team collaborations. The world of 3D printing fueled my curiosity in advanced manufacturing, eventually leading me to build a CNC mill.

My life's diverse experiences have converged to shape my current path and guide my future. With an unwavering commitment to learning and a vision for innovation, I am driven to create a product that achieves global recognition—something truly unique in its essence. This aspiration propels me forward, fueled by a passion for mechatronics and a dedication to leaving a lasting impact on the world.

Where am I now? Currently, I am a final-year Mechanical Engineering student actively seeking full-time employment in the Robotics or Advanced Manufacturing field. Alongside my studies, I am engaged in side projects, contributing to my Robotics team, and playing volleyball on the weekends.
